We have two locations.
We offer MIG, FLUX, SMAW, GTAW/TIG, Stainless Steel Pipe Seminar, Specialty Alloy Pipe, and Pipeline classes.
Tuition ranges from $1,500 up to $6,000 depending on what class you enroll in.
Classes are in session Monday through Friday. No classes on Saturdays & Sundays. We offer morning, afternoon, and night classes for a part-time schedule & a full-day schedule for students wanting to attend full time.
We have classes starting every 3-6 weeks. See when our next class is starting here.
Most classes are 120 contact hours.
If you attend class as a part-time student it will take you 6 weeks to complete one class attending 4 hours per day Monday - Friday.
If you are a full-time student, you can complete one class in 3 weeks; attending 8 hours per day Monday - Friday.
To complete our Combination Pipe Welder Program it will take about 7 months to complete all 4-5 classes required.
If you have previous welding experience or education, you can test out of classes you do not need to take and start where your current skill level is.
For example, if you want to start on SMAW Pipe class you would have to pass the 4G overhead plate test. This is standard practice for all students wanting to start on a more advanced class. You can schedule to take your weld test here on our website, Click Here!
Class is held Monday - Friday; in a fast pace learning environment to allow you to learn the skills needed to go to work in a short time period. Therefore, every student is expected to be in class, on time every day! Missing class, even one day will set you back. You MUST be committed to attending school every day for the duration of your class.
Yes, we do accept Financial Aid through the Texas Workforce Commission. You can apply at your local WorkSource office.
Financial Aid will cover up to $200 towards the cost of your tools if you are enrolled to start the SMAW Plate program.
Financial Aid only covers tuition cost for all other approved programs. You must bring your own tools from home or can purchase them from any vendor you prefer.
We can not guarantee job placement. However, we do help our graduate students with job leads, references, resumes, and grant our students private access on our website to employment resources.
